Solutions Architect & Team Lead – Microsoft Business Applications
We’re looking for a Solutions Architect & Team Lead for a day-rate contract with a well-established Irish financial services organisation. It’s a hybrid role based in Dublin. You’ll shape the organisation’s applications and data landscape while leading a small team that delivers systems change and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Shape major change programmes from the earliest concept stage, working closely with senior business stakeholders
• Turn business goals into solution options, roadmaps and delivery plans
• Act as design authority, making sure solutions are secure, scalable and in line with enterprise standards
• Define end-to-end architecture across core business applications and data platforms
• Lead and develop a systems change and analytics team, owning delivery of enhancements and reporting
• Develop the data warehouse and MI platforms, and promote strong data quality and governance
• Work with vendors and internal teams to deliver solutions that fit the business
• Contribute to IT strategy, governance and delivery across multiple workstreams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect delivering end-to-end solutions through major change
• Strong Microsoft background, ideally across Dynamics 365, Business Central, Power Platform and Azure data services
• Solid grounding in enterprise applications, data platforms and business analysis
• Experience building application and data roadmaps that support business strategy
• Familiarity with DevOps and low-code / no-code delivery
• Experience in insurance or financial services, including awareness of regulatory requirements, would be an advantage
• Strong people leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
